What the participants said ...
At the end of the participation period a couple of points stand out. We strive for brevity here since everything that was contributed by participants can be seen in full on this page.
The first point that stood out was the appreciation by participants of the activity of understanding "What is personalized learning?".
Amanda Klassen: “I really appreciated the content distinguishing the difference between differentiation, individualization, and personalized learning as those terms can be hard to tell apart.”
Manize Nayani: “One of the things that stood out was how you have differentiated between personalized, differentiated and individualized learning.”
Carla Pretorius: “I particularly appreciate how you highlighted the differences between personalized, differentiated and individualized learning. These were terms which in my mind were synonymous just a week ago.”
Kendra Achonwa: “After completing these readings, I realized I was mixing up the definitions of personalized and individualized learning”.

Second, on the question of how students, teachers, parents, schools and school community could change in a system built around personalized learning, (as expected), there is a lot of interesting discussion generated; the takeaway is that all these roles will change and look very different from what they are today.
